The winners included trumpeter Art Farmer, tenor saxophonist Benny Golson art asher b durand engravers farmer and pianist BIll Evans. The three musicians were joined on the date by bassist Addison Farmer art asher b durand engravers farmer and drummer Dave Bailey. Although this session marks the only time that the band was to record together, the unit coalesced instantaneously, producing eight super tracks art asher b durand engravers farmer and an album that is widely regarded as one of the trumpeters finest.
