Touch typing - Touch typing is typing using the sense of touch rather than sight to find the keys. Touch typing places the eight fingers in a horizontal row along the middle of the keyboard and has them reach for other keys.
Hunt and peck typing - A common form of typing is hunt and peck (also known as two-fingered typing, Search and Destroy typing or "The Columbus Method," so named because you Find it and Land on it.) which is slower than touch typing because, instead of relying on the memorized position of keys, a typist finds each key by sight.
